This popular design showcases a stunning butterfly silhouette made out of carefully crafted puff stitches. The puffs add depth and texture to this gorgeous piece that will surely catch everyone's eye. Pattern Notes

*For best results use a plain solid baby yarn not variegated or stripes etc.

Puff Stitch
(Yarn over, pull up a loop) 4 times (9 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 8 loops, yarn over and pull through the remaining 2 loops.

Tips to make the perfect puff stitches
*The puff stitch is always created when working on the reverse side of the blanket, it will naturally pop in position on the front side, if this doesn’t happen, then work the Sc st after the puff st very slightly tighter than the other Sc sts.
* Use a metal crochet hook.
* If your puff stitches are too tight when working up, then increase the height slightly on the 1st loop pulled up.
