Two ways to explore lace knitting
From a pink blanket for a new arrival to a striped gift in your favourite colours, Easy Lace and Candy Stripe offer two different ways to use simple eyelet stitches.
Easy Lace combines blocks of open lace with smooth stocking stitch, separated by garter-stitch ridges. Candy Stripe alternates two colours, bringing together eyelet rows and small textured blocks for a striped design with extra detail.
Both baby blankets are knitted flat in one piece, with the borders worked as you go. Written row-by-row instructions guide you through each design, using knit, purl, yarn over and knit two together.
