Hi, I'm Vivienne, I love babies and I love crocheting! Since launching Peach Unicorn designs I have designed many crochet baby blanket patterns for you to enjoy making. Today, I am proud to share with you my collection of 20+ modern and unique crochet baby blanket patterns.
These baby blankets are all one-of-a-kind designs that have been inspired by my children, nursery rhymes, animals, educational shapes and numbers and of course meaningful words we all associate with our beautiful babies. Each design honours different crocheting skills from the use of the classic puff stitch, to the crochet shell stitch, the intarsia technique and I even have a filet style pattern. Some blankets designs have the option of making up in one-piece or as motifs depending on your personal preference.

1. Precious Motifs Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern
This multi-coloured baby blanket is perfect for a baby boy or girl. It is full of words we associate with babies. Cute, Sweet, Love, Wonderful, Adorable, Perfect and Precious. Made up with Bernat Softee Baby DK yarn or any DK Baby yarn of your choice. This is the Motif version of the design, so great bite size sections, ideal to make up while travelling.

These little heart motifs can be crocheted up very fast, experiment with different colours and arrange them in different patterns to make up a gorgeous baby blanket.

There was a song that we listened and sung to when my girls were younger. It has the words button nose and ten tiny toes in it. We loved that song and it inspired this blanket design.

Make up with 5 coloured balls of DK baby yarn. It is an easy but very effective pattern. You carry the yarn up the same of the blanket and then hide it later with the border, so no need to cut and sew in the yarn after each row.
